SURPRISE! – Read Mark 16:1-8

It’s cold and slowly getting light as we go to help make spices to prepare the body. We have rested on the Sabbath, and we are still struggling with the shock of all that has happened. As light slowly grows and the air grows warmer in the morning, with the sounds of the dawn chorus, we see something odd. The stone, which we were wondering how to move, has gone! It has rolled back. Has someone broken in? A young man is there in white. He doesn’t seem to be your average person at all, he radiates a sense of God’s presence. “Go! Tell the disciples that he has risen and gone to Galilee!” How do I feel as we run from the tomb. What now?
