ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, recognising their continuing connections to community, land, sea, and sky, since time immemorial.

We pay our respects to all generations of First Nations Peoples who have protected and preserved the spirit of the land and the life forms that are part of it, for over 80,000 years, and continue to do so today.

We say to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples that we are sorry for wrongdoings committed by the Church, and we commit to walking together towards greater recognition, reconciliation and justice.
