Read Matt 12:22-33
Contemplation
Back on the dusty road, there’s a noise and a group of people is pushing and shoving. Here comes a person being guided by others. They are frightened, but it’s hard to see why. The man doesn’t look as though he’s a risk to anyone, but the group all say that the devil is in him. It seems he can’t see and also battles to talk. Jesus touches him gently. Suddenly, his eyes focus and he speaks clearly. While everyone around the man is happy, the local religious leaders are not. They mutter and grumble. “This man is under the devil’s power! How else does he control devils?” Jesus is angry now. “How do other healers make people better? If the devil fights himself, how could he win? But if you think everything God does is the devil working, how can God ever reach you to help you?”
Talk to the man and his friends and Jesus.
If I have a disability, do people see me as having or being a problem?
Do I have trouble noticing God working around me?
