As people and organisations throughout the world respond to Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato si', the Josephite community in Australia takes up his call to care for all creation and those who inhabit it, especially the poor, reports Vatican News.

Majellan Media, a ministry of the Redemptorists, has launched a new podcast series on prayer titled Prayer is Life which coincides with the start of a Year of Prayer announced by Pope Francis. 

In his message for Lent 2024, Pope Francis invites the faithful to “pause” for prayer and to assist our brothers and sisters in need, in order to change our own lives and the lives of our communities.
