Catholics around the world are being invited to pray for the Synod on Synodality Assembly currently underway, by using the same prayer to the Holy Spirit which has been used for similar Church gatherings for centuries.

It has been 50 years since the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master took up the invitation to come to Australia and care for the sick and retired priests of the Archdiocese of Melbourne, reports Melbourne Catholic.

The Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea has elected a new leadership team to guide the institute for the next four years.

Dozens of four-legged creatures, great and small, waited patiently with wagging tails for their blessing from new Australian Catholic University Banyo campus chaplain Capuchin Father Luan Le, The Catholic Leader reports.
