Catholic Religious of Australia join those around the world who will be praying for Queen Elizabeth’s eternal rest in peace, for her family and for all those who are grieving her death across the Commonwealth, and indeed the world.

Peter Jones OSA, Provincial of the Augustinians of the Province of Australasia was elected as the new President of Catholic Religious Australia (CRA) at the 2022 National Assembly, held in Melbourne from 29 August to 1 September, along with a new Executive and new Council.

CRA calls on all leaders of faith-based communities to raise their voices against domestic and family abuse. Legislative action from the NSW Government and the call from the Australian Catholic Bishops for Church communities to confront this serious social injustice is welcomed and supported by CRA.

Catholic Religious Australia (CRA) and the Association of Ministerial Public Juridic Persons (AMPJP) are pleased to announce that they have signed a Covenant document.

Catholic Religious Australia President, Br Peter Carroll FMS has joined other Australian faith leaders in signing a statement urging our political leaders to reconsider the needs and futures of people who are still on Temporary Protection Visas. The faith leaders say it is time to offer people on TPVs permanent protection.
