CRA Online Seminar Educating for Interfaith Relations A Conversation with Prof. Amy-Jill Levine

  • Catholic Religious Australia Online Via Zoom Australia (map)

Topic

CRA invites you to a fascinating conversation with Prof. Amy-Jill Levine, an internationally renowned biblical scholar whose work has helped countless Christians to appreciate the Gospels and the Letters of Paul within their Jewish contexts. This one-hour session, facilitated by Dr Janine Luttick (Australian Catholic University), is a high value opportunity for leaders, educators, pastoral practitioners and all who have a role in fostering interfaith sensitivities – in classrooms, pulpits, formation houses and justice advocacy - in an increasingly polarized society.

About Amy-Jill Levine

Amy-Jill Levine is Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace, University Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies Emerita, and Mary Jane Werthan Professor of Jewish Studies Emerita at Vanderbilt University. She is the Vice President of the Catholic Biblical Association of America.
