CRA Online Seminar Educating for Interfaith Relations A Conversation with Prof. Amy-Jill Levine

  • Catholic Religious Australia Online Via Zoom Australia (map)

Topic

We invite you to a fascinating discussion with Prof. Amy-Jill Levine, an internationally renowned Jewish New Testament scholar whose work has helped countless Christians to look at the Gospels with fresh eyes, appreciating their Jewish historical and cultural contexts. This one-hour session is a high value opportunity for leaders, educators, pastoral practitioners and all who have a role in fostering interfaith sensitivities – in classrooms, pulpits, formation houses and justice advocacy - in an increasingly polarised society.

About Amy-Jill Levine

Amy-Jill Levine is Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace, University Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies Emerita, and Mary Jane Werthan Professor of Jewish Studies Emerita at Vanderbilt University. She is the Vice President of the Catholic Biblical Association of America.
