World Environment Day 2026 – You’re Invited
Join us for the launch of the CRA Schools Wetland Challenge, an exciting national initiative of the CRA Integral Ecology Committee.
The CRA Schools Wetland Challenge invites schools across Australia to deepen their understanding of local wetlands and waterways, and to take practical action to care for and protect these vital ecosystems. Students will be encouraged to become citizen scientists and advocates for the natural places they love.
As part of the challenge, schools within the CRA community will be invited to “adopt a wetland” — any place where water is present — and learn how to observe, protect and celebrate these important environments.
This online launch event will feature inspiring presentations from Andrew Kelly, a passionate waterways advocate, and Catherine Holmes, Sustainability Leader at Xavier College.
Come and discover how schools can help nurture care for creation and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.
